Alexandria VA—EAS Consulting Group LLC announced the expansion of their services offered to clients who are seeking to file Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) and other food safety submissions to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), according to a press release.

The release states that the new services are in the departments of Toxicology and Contract Research Organizations (CRO). These services consist of developing study designs and protocols that demonstrate performance criteria, assist with identification of proper CRO, coordinate study and management with CRO, and monitor study protocols and outcomes.

According to the release, EAS already offers services in this area such as pre-meetings with the FDA, performing feasibility studies, identification of appropriate data to support the study, and dossier preparation and submission.
