According to a press release from Nutrasource, this is the first license to be obtained by a third-party, natural products-focused contract research organization in Canada. It will allow Nutrasource to possess and conduct activities including, but not limited to, holding, distributing, and conducting clinical research studies on controlled substances.
“With fully developed study protocols, safe storage and management as well as an experienced QPIC (Qualified Person in Charge) recognized by Health Canada’s Office of Controlled Substances, Nutrasource is ready for controlled drug and substances projects,” said Ana Samborski, Pharmacy Manager, Nutrasource.
