KSM-66 is a branded root extract, produced using a proprietary extraction process that does not use alcohol or any other chemical solvent. NutraShield Technology microencapsulates nutrients, in order to stabilize the nutrient while masking overs and flavors and controlling color intensity. Combining the two, according to the press release, allows for a higher ashwagandha inclusion rate in products, while minimizing off-notes and stabilizing the product.
