We're back at it. SupplySide East is back at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus from August 24-25, 2021, and a few weeks later we’ll be making our way to the beautiful city of Philadelphia for Expo East, taking place September 22-25, 2021.
TeamWholeFoodsMagazine will be at both shows, and if you are making your way to either, we hope to see you there! Stop by booth 403 at SupplySide East, and booth 3707 at Expo East, to say hi.
Strolling the show floor will no doubt be a different experience this year, but we’ll be making our way around the halls, reporting on all the trends, emerging science, eye-
catching new products, and more! Stay tuned for coverage on www.WholeFoodsMagazine.comand on The Natural View podcast—if you can’t make it to the shows, or simply won’t have time to cover all the ground, we’ll bring the highlights to you to get you in-the-know on all the latest.
Education Update!
Thankfully, we haven’t missed out on education, despite the fact that we haven’t had as many opportunities to meet in person at shows over this past year (though we have had some—like the SOHO Expo 2020 and MAHO 2021 Summer Splash Convention and MAHO Expo, and you can read up on both of those atwww.WholeFoodsMagazine.com). In 2020,WholeFoodsMagazine and Trust Transparency Center partnered to bring you the Naturally Informed virtual event series, and we are going strong! In June, we presented the 6th event of the series,Active Nutrition: Mastering the Market. The event featured keynotes by Kien Vuu, M.D., author ofThrive State, and Jaime Meeks, MS, RD, CSSD, LDN, Director of Sports Nutrition for the New Orleans Saints. And throughout the two-day event, we heard from experts on a variety of important and emerging topics that can help you grow your business, from on-the-horizon trends that you should start exploring now so you are ready to meet your customers’ needs, to strategies to help you succeed on social media, to tools that consumers (and your staff...and you!) can utilize to function at your peak, to live longer, stronger, happier, and more productive lives! If you missed the sessions for this event (or any of the events in the Naturally Informed series) you can view all of the talks on-demand at no cost thanks to our sponsors. Check out coverage of some highlights on page 10. And you can access all that valuable content, entirely for free, by simply going towww.naturallyinformed.net/on-demand/.
Next up, Naturally Informed presentsHealthy Aging: Mastering the Marketon September 29-30. We’ll be taking a deep dive into the category, focusing on the goal that so many of us are working toward: to enjoy a long, healthy life. Emphasis on healthy. The aging global population is taking preventative measures with lifestyle choices and supplementation to maintain a youthful existence as they mature. Optimizing brain health; revving energy; protecting bone, muscle, and joint health; maintaining a healthy heart and strong immune system; boosting libido…the list of interests is long, so the potential for success in this category is great.
And it’s not just about Boomers: Younger demographics are recognizing the importance of building a healthy foundation, particularly as COVID-19 has raised awareness about the
importance of healthy living.
I hope you’ll join us for this two-day virtual event, where researchers, suppliers, brands, retailers, practitioners and other industry players will investigate how businesses throughout the supply chain can meet consumer demand and master this market. We will present up-to-date information on emerging science, consumer trends, and actionable strategies for developing, positioning, and merchandising products. Registration is free atwww.naturallyinformed.net/healthy-aging-mastering-the-market/.
Virtually or in person, I look forward to seeing you at industry events soon!
