Sonora, CA—Diestel Family Ranch has announced a brand refresh and a flavor-forward marketing campaign focusing on "America's love affair" with turkey, the company noted in a press release.

"Diestel recently celebrated its 70thbirthday, and while we remain as committed as ever to producing quality, thoughtfully raised products, we felt it was time to bring a contemporary, modern edge to our brand," said Heidi Diestel, 4thGeneration Turkey Farmer in an interview withWholeFoods.

Diestel Family Ranch has re-launched its website with a new design that features new photography along with a digital ad campaign centering around wordmoist--which, their press release notes, is "often debated." Heidi explained that the "MOIST" geo-located digital ad campaign is expected to heighten consumers’ emotional connection to the brand.

“While our values will never waiver, we’re finally letting our personality shine through our marketing efforts and calling out the bold taste that our turkey products bring to the table," she added.

Not only focusing on digital, Diestel Family Ranch has invested inregenerative agriculture.

"Regenerative agriculture has always played a huge role in Diestel’s history," says Heidi. "We invest in our own compost to improve soil structure and reduce greenhouse gases, and we have our own state-of-the-art membrane water filtration technology which allows us to reuse our water and drastically reduce the amount of fresh groundwater used. We’ve also completely eliminated toxic chemicals, fertilizers and inorganic substances on our farms. For us, it’s not enough to just protect the Earth. We’re on a mission to restore it for generations to come."

Along with the branding refresh, the company also has introduced two new products: ground turkey breast and ground turkey. Made with no antibiotics, gluten or preservatives, these turkey products are packaged with BPA free plastic. The organic versions are also Non-GMO Project Verified.
