Auburn, WA—During Celiac Awareness Month, the Gluten Intolerance Group (GIG) is sharing how it will celebrate—and educate—throughout the month of May, a month which contains not only International Celiac Awareness Day on May 16, but also May 17, which marks GIG’s 47thyear of advocating for those living gluten-free.

GIG’s campaign will highlight the challenges faced by one in 100 people worldwide who live with celiac. Each week, GIG will focus different aspects if this disease, ranging from medical information to insights for friends and families. The campaign includes a live, virtual educational event, tips, and other insights shared on GIG’s blog and social channels. Also included: A fundraiser, to provide those in need access to discounted gluten-free foods.
