New York, NY—Gathered Foods, makers of Good Catch plant-based seafood products, has a new group of celebrity investors boosting its growth, according to a press release. The roster includes Woody Harrelson, Shailene Woodley, Paris Hilton, and Lance Bass.

The plant-based category has reached a value of $4.5 billion, according to the press release, and retail sales of plant-based foods grew by 11% in 2019, versus 2% for the overall retail food market. The team at Gathered Foods is looking to meet this demand with Good Catch, a plant-based tuna that offers the taste, texture, nutrition, and experience of seafood, without the actual fish.
