Naperville, IL—Over 550 specialty, natural & organic, and fresh suppliers attended KeHE’s Summer Show which took place January 28 through February 5. In an all-digital platform, audience members were able to discover new and innovative products through KeHE sponsored programs like the Next Generation Innovation Showcase & Faceoff, education sessions, and On Trend Awards.
A couple of things attendees learned? In 2021, retailers can expect consumers to focus on family health and pet health—in addition to individual health. Other trends that are likely to pop-up include functional & plant-based food options, as well as better-for-you indulgences.
Brands that came up on top of KeHE’s Innovation Showcase and pitch-slam Faceoff included Bee’s Wrap (winner), Drops, Ripe & Ready, Green Mustache, Mostly Made and The Vurger CO. The five finalists were in the ranks with 100 others and were chosen based on salability, ingredients, taste, and overall brand message.
