Santa Monica, CA—Mavericks Snacks announced that it will donate 10 cents for every 8-count multi pack of its kids snack products through September 15, 2020, to the Whole Kids Foundation. Available in Whole Foods Market stores across the US and online, the donations will be specifically invested in grants for school gardens.
“Mavericks Snacks embodies our belief that a child reaching their greatest potential is a great investment,” said Nona Evans, President and Executive Director of Whole Kids Foundation, in a press release. “Thanks to this support from Mavericks Snacks, we will be able to engage thousands more children in outdoor garden education.”
For nearly a decade, the Whole Kids Foundation has worked in partnership with schools, educators and local organizations, to provide grants for schools, which include school gardens, salad bars and educational beehives.
