Ingredients:

1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

1 onion, chopped

1/2 cups chopped bell pepper (any color)

1 lb hormone-free ground turkey

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1 1/3 cups tomato sauce

3 tablespoons agave

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

2 tablespoons Activz Kale Powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Whole-grain buns

 

Directions:

1. Sweat onion and bell pepper in large skillet, then add turkey and cook until browned.

2. Add garlic, onion powder, tomato sauce, agave and cider vinegar and simmer 15 minutes or until onion is tender.

3. Cut heat and stir in Activz Kale Powder until well-combined, then salt and pepper to taste. Serve stuffed into a whole-grain bun. Makes seven cups
