New Port Richey, FLJoining the list of industry events that have been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the SOHO Healthfest produced by SENPA, which had been scheduled for August 14-16 in Dallas, will not take place as planned. National and state mandates to the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as company travel restrictions and unforeseen state and county mandates from the State of Texas, lead to the cancellation.

SENPA said it is connecting with sponsors, exhibitors and pre-registered independent retail attendees to share all information concerning the cancellation.

“SOHO Healthfest remains committed to the independent retailer, our sponsors and exhibitors to produce a networking event that is safe and comfortable for everyone,” said SENPA Executive Director Debra Short in a press release. “Our commitment is one of providing premier education and engaging decision makers with companies in the natural products industry.”

Looking ahead, SOHO Expo, which is celebrating 50 years this year, remains scheduled for December 10-13 at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Orlando. SENPA shared that they are working with the Gaylord Palms and monitoring the local government mandates to ensure a safe event and the best path forward for the 2020 SOHO Expo.

"Maintaining the safety, health and welfare of our attendees is our first priority as we make decisions regarding our event," SENPA shared. "SOHO Healthfest 2021 is scheduled for June 4-6 and, we are proud to announce 2022 dates of April 22-24 at the Omni Mandalay Hotel & Resort in Dallas, Texas."
