Whole Foods, Amazon Team to Aid Hurricane Harvey Flood Victims

Amazon Whole Foods to match American Red Cross funds

Austin, TX — Whole Foods Market headquarters was not impacted by Hurricane Harvey but the company has already teamed with its new owner Amazon.com to help raise funds for flood victims.

“Our thoughts are with those affected by the devastating damage caused by Hurricane Harvey,” spokesperson Betsy Harden told WholeFoods Magazine. “To support relief efforts, Amazon and Whole Foods Market will match cash donations made via Amazon – up to $1 million total – to the American Red Cross Hurricane Harvey Relief.”

All four Whole Foods Houston stores are closed, as are most supermarkets in the region.
