CRN Opens Registration for Science in Session and Now, New, Next

Washington, D.C.—The Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN) has opened registration for Science in Session and Now, New, Next, according to a press release. The events will be in-person with virtual options, with the in-person events taking place at the Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel, in Dana Point, California.

“After nearly two years apart, people want to meet and reconnect with colleagues in person,” said Maya English, CRN’s Director of Membership, Education, and Events, in the press release. “New this year, attendees can participate in CRN’s meeting matchmaking for focused networking by providing demographic details when registering.” Attendees can also join an array of group activities designed to further forge connections and build lasting relationships.

Tieraona Low Dog, M.D., will deliver the keynote address for Science in Session, taking place October 19. She will focus on women’s health, discussing women’s micronutrient needs across the lifespan. The day’s sessions will explore a range of women’s health and nutrition topics, such as optimizing sleep health and weight management, supporting eye and brain health, reducing disease risk in post-menopausal women, sex differences in clinical trials, and nutrition for active, pregnant, and lactating women.
