HP Ingredients has announced Jennifer Lacerda Chisholm as Regional Sales & Business Development Manager for the West Coast, Alaska, Hawaii, British Columbia, and Latin America regions. Chisholm previously worked for Garden of Life in Product Education and Sales, and East Park Research in Direct Sales.

Scott Neal is the new Chief Fresh Merchandising Officer at Sprouts Farmers Market. Neal will oversee Sprouts’ fresh merchandise offerings. With more than 25 years of retail experience, Neal previously served as senior vice president and general merchandise manager for the fresh food division of Walmart U.S., and was a member of the board of directors of Feeding America.

KeHE has appointed Karen Hung to its Board of Directors. Hung is the CEO and Founder of Silver Rock Consulting, a management consulting firm providing transformational alignment at the intersection of marketing, strategy, and innovation.

OmniActive Health Technologies has announced Jim Terry as its Chief Commercial Officer. He will lead global sales for OmniActive, with a specific focus on building deeper relationships with customers in the nutraceuticals industry. Terry has more than 30 years of experience in diversified and progressive management, providing strategic direction and leading team-oriented work forces at leading nutraceutical companies such as Aspire Pharmaceuticals, Neptune Wellness Solutions, and Nutra Manufacturing (former manufacturing division of GNC).

Green America’s Center for Sustainability Solutions has welcomed Courtney Pineau as Senior Director of Climate & Agriculture Networks. Pineau will lead the Center’s Climate and Agriculture programs including the Regenerative Supply Working Group, the Carbon Farming Innovation Network, and the Soil Carbon Index. Courtney joins the team from the Non-GMO Project.

Friend of the Sea has appointed nine experts to its newly formed Scientific Committee advising the Friend of the Sea Dolphin and Whale Watching standard. This international group of distinguished researchers in the field of cetaceans and whale watching will play a key role in the development and revision of dolphin and whale watching standards. The new committee members include: Mehdi Aissi of Tunisia, Jessica Alessi and Cristina Fiori of Italy, Chiara Giulia Bertulli of the UK, Mariano Coscarella from Argentina, Putu Liza Musika of Indonesia, Enrico Pirotta of Ireland, Valeria Senigaglia of Australia and Ann Carole Vallejo of Colombia. They will serve until June, 2022.

Hagerman will be responsible for carrying out organizational goals, policies, and procedures, and managing the company’s ongoing business activities, including sales, digital and conventional marketing, customer service, quality/analytical, audit, regulatory, and legal services, and critically important business development.

Algaia has appointed Frédéric Faure as its new CEO for the entire group. With over 20 years of experience in specialty food ingredients, Faure worked in both France and China in managerial positions and portfolio development for global companies such as Cargill, Evonik, and Lucas-Meyer. Faure replaces Fabrice Bohin, who remains a shareholder and member of the Board of Directors, while becoming the new president of Diana Naturals SAS within Symrise Nutrition.

Path of Life has welcomed Blake Zimmerman to the Live Simple family as the Director of Brand Sales. With 12 years of industry experience, Zimmerman will lead sales strategies for existing products in addition to developing launch strategies for new brand innovations. Previously, Zimmerman served as vice president of sales at Bonafide Provisions.
