Trust Transparency Center announced that Len Monheit has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer. Previously serving as the organization’s Managing Partner, Monheit led the formation of Trust Transparency’s single ingredient trade stewardship programs in the curcumin, prebiotic and coconut categories globally and developed TTC’s consulting practice.

The Board of Directors of Rodale Institute announced the appointment of Jeff Moyer as Chief Executive Officer. As CEO, Moyer will supervise the research, training, and education mission of the Institute, as well as act as liaison to the Board of Directors and the Rodale Institute campuses across the country.

The Council for Responsible Nutrition has announced Julia Gustafson as VP of Government Relations. Gustafson will lead CRN’s federal and state legislative and strategic policy initiatives, and will also serve as treasurer of CRN’s political action committee.

Chris Sherrell, President and CEO of Fresh Thyme Farmers Market, announced his departure from the company. Sherrell led Fresh Thyme since its beginning in 2012. Gerald Melville will take over as President. He last worked in Meijer, where he was a Regional Vice President of Stores, overseeing operations for nearly 50 Meijer supercenters.

Reed’s Inc. announced the departure of Chief Financial Officer Iris Snyder and the appointment of Joann Tinnelly as Interim Chief Financial Officer.

Dr. Praeger’s Sensible Foods announced Hilaria Baldwin as the brand’s first official Chief Lunchbox Officer.

Aker BioMarine appointed Simo Echchafai as new Marketing Director of Human Nutrition. Echchafai will oversee the marketing team’s active partnerships and customer-
centric work, assisting customers to demonstrate Antarctic krill’s health benefits.

James Langrock is moving on from his position as Hain Celestial’s Chief Financial Officer, to be succeeded by Javier H. Idrovo.

Lotus Foods hired Andrew Burke as President/COO. Burke will have direct oversight of all aspects of the company’s operations, marketing and sales functions.

Andy Yorkin is the new President of BrandHive. Yorkin developed highly successful campaigns for multiple major accounts, including Lehi Mills, Quantum Health, and DuPont and managed strategic B2C and B2B marketing for companies like Black Diamond Equipment/Gregory Mountain Products.

Pharmavite LLC announced Rhonda Hoffman as Chief Marketing Officer. Hoffman will lead brand development, consumer insights, advertising and organization development.

Bluebird Botanicals appointed Josh Luman as President. Josh will become a part of the Bluebird flock to increase efficiency within the company, develop leadership capacity, and ultimately expand the brand while maintaining focus on the company’s mission.

Dr. Paul Blake has been appointed to the Board of Directors of CV Sciences, Inc. Dr. Blake currently serves as Chief Medical Officer at Heron Therapeutics Inc., where he is responsible for clinical research, medical affairs and drug safety.

Michael Watt is the new CEO of Daiya Foods. He will lead all global operations for Daiya throughout North America and its continued international expansion.
