The sixth CEO in the history of PCC Community Markets is now Suzanne Monford. Monford brings over 30 years of experience in the grocery and restaurant industries spanning from her experiences at The Kroger Company, H-E-B Central Market, H-E-B Grocery, and Andronico’s Community Markets.

The Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN) has hired Kendall Ridley as Senior Director of Communications. Ridley’s key responsibilities will be to spearhead the association’s strategic communications program, build key partnerships, and craft consumer education and advocacy campaigns for CRN.

iHerb has appointed Dr. Michael Murray as its Chief Scientific Advisor. Dr. Murray has been a thought leader, author, and expert in nutrition, dietary supplements, and natural products. He has published more than 30 books, including the Encyclopedia of Natural Medicine.

Jones Soda Co. has promoted 38-year CPG and foodservice industry veteran Mark Murray to President and CEO. Prior to joining Jones Soda, Murray served as the president of JGC Foods.

Michelle Ahbe has been named Quicksilver Scientific’s Director of Marketing Brand Development, bringing with her a decade of CPG brand management experience.

Mercato has hired Emily Keeton as its Chief Financial Officer. Keeton will oversee all financial and administrative functions at Mercato. Previously, she worked as Managing Director of WeWork’s Creator Fund.

Five new members have joined The Global Prebiotic Association (GPA): ADM and Aquamin join GPA at the Member level, and Anderson Advanced Ingredients, Next Trillion Sciences, and Traverse Science, Inc. join as Associate Members.
