The new Chair for The Council for Responsible Nutrition’s (CRN) Board of Directors is Barry Ritz, Ph.D., Chief Scientific Officer and Vice President, Professional R&D and Regulatory Affairs, Atrium Innovations. Steve Mister, CRN President & CEO, will continue to serve as a Board Officer, and Harvey Kamil, Piping Rock Health Products, past CRN chair (2015-2016), will remain Chair Emeritus, a non-voting member of CRN’s Board of Directors and Executive Committee.

AIDP has welcomed Debbie Wildrick as Chief Beverage Visionary. Wildrick will serve as a consultant and help the company’s beverage and food expansion efforts. With 40 years of sales, marketing, and operations experience in the industry, she focuses on functional beverages.

Nicole Sopko, Vice President of Upton’s Naturals, has been elected President of the Board of Directors at the Plant Based Foods Association (PBFA). A founding board member of the organization, Sopko is committed to fostering growth and collaboration within the industry.

Deerland Probiotics & Enzymes has hired Arthur Radcliffe as the company’s Business Development Manager responsible for the southern United States. With over 25 years of experience in the industry, Radcliffe previously worked for Lonza-Capsugel, holding various positions in sales and marketing.

The new Chief Operating Officer for Lief Labs is Yancy W. Riddle, Ph.D., who will lead the integration and development of cross functional teams designed to improve the customer experience.

David Best has been promoted to CEO and President of Newman’s Own. Best will lead an expanded organization covering commercial activities and responsibility for licensing operations.

Taking on day-to-day leadership, Numi Organic Tea has appointed Brian Durkee as CEO. Co-Founder Ahmed Rahim will assume the role of CVO (Chief Visionary Officer), working with Durkee and Co-Founder Reem Hassani.

Ardent Mills has hired Jonathan Aplin as VP Marketing. Aplin will be responsible for the overall marketing strategy and plan execution with a focus on delivering growth
for customers.

Jones Soda has appointed Jamie Colbourne as the company’s Chairman of the Board. With 30 years in the CPG industry, Colbourne has worked as CEO and board member of JGC Foods and COO of Charlie’s Produce.

The new CEO of Base Culture is Heidi Krauss, who brings over 20 years of experience working with consumer brands. Krauss previously worked as the Chief Marketing Officer at siggi’s yogurt. Founder and former CEO Jordann Windschauer will continue to play an active role in the brand’s development, focusing primarily on brand vision and product innovation.

Leonard Cocca has joined EpiCor as Regional Sales Manager, East Coast. Cocca has experience as Sales Manager for leading supplement ingredient companies.

Christopher Brinsmead, CBE, has joined OptiBiotix as a Non-Executive Director of the Company.

To lead its dispute resolution and litigation group, George Spatz has joined Amin Talati Wasserman. He brings nearly two decades of experience representing companies in supply chain, intellectual property, and other business disputes.
