In Memoriam: Lisa Lent, 1971-2020

Lisa Lent, Founder of Vitalah, creators of the effervescent multivitamin brand Oxylent, passed on August 31, 2020. A memorial posted on www.gatheringus.com celebrates Lent’s life and invites family and friends to share stories and memories. Plans for virtual and in-person gatherings will be shared on the site, and those who wish to make a donation in Lent’s memory are invited to donate to the Rivkin Center For Ovarian Cancer.

Lent founded Vitalah in 2008, and in just over four years grew the company into a multi-million dollar business. Lent’s LinkedIn profile shares how the company came to be: The desire for optimum health for the traveler inspired the development of Oxylent, Vitalah’s first product.

Throughout the industry, colleagues remembered Lent. “Lisa was a brilliant, vibrant and passionate woman,” Bob Barrows, VP Sales/Marketing at Bluebonnet Nutrition Corp., toldWholeFoods. “She was a true entrepreneur who fought to find a place in our industry. She succeeded at this endeavor and along the way won the hearts of many people in our industry. This is such a sad day for many of us.”
