Lakewood, CO—Natural Grocers and its customers raised $260,000 for local food banks during the store's 65th anniversary celebration in August. The fundraising success was driven by multiple initiatives, including a 5-cent reusable bag contribution, anniversary sales donations, and customer generosity, the company reported. The donations will provide high-quality food via Natural Grocers gift cards.
