Bloomingdale, ILNOW announced that the company has expanded its supplement product lines with the acquisition of SuperNutrition, a supplement company that specializes in multi-vitamin formulations based on scientifically proven potencies. 

SuperNutrition was founded by Patrick Mooney and his son, Michael Mooney, in 1977. Patrick’s daughter, Kathy Mooney, later led the family business.
Future Plans: Expansion, with a Focus on Family Business Ethics
NOW explained in a press release that it expects to expand the SuperNutrition line, using a network of international distributors to expand distribution worldwide. While growing the brand, NOW intends to keep Patrick Mooney’s formulation principles and family business ethics.

Details of the acquisition, which was facilitated by industry veteran Karl Riedel of Riedel Enterprises, were not disclosed, though NOW did report that Riedel utilized his knowledge of both parties and his belief that their company philosophies would be harmonious.
