New Port Richey, FL–SENPA announced a new date for the SOHO Healthfest, which was originally scheduled for May. The event, which offers educational seminars free for SENPA retail members and an event show floor free to natural products industry retailers, will now take place August 14-16 at the Omni Mandalay at Las Colinas in Dallas, TX. SENPA said staff has been preparing for the August event and is paying close attention to best-practices to limit potential risks for attendees.

SENPA said in a press release that Healthfest, which is an education and tabletop event that brings independent retailers and suppliers together to build partnerships, will welcome additional retailers and suppliers who have missed shows that have been canceled due to COVID-19 concerns.

“Our community relies on exhibitions to gain distribution and build their businesses,” said Debra Short, SENPA Executive Director. “SOHO Healthfest will provide the resources to help our retailers and suppliers continue to nourish human connections, especially now, when we need them most.”

SENPA also announced that the 2020 SENPA Road Shows will be cancelled, and the SENPA Education Committee will convene and consider current and new options for 2021 SOHO Road Show.

“I’m thankful that we at SENPA can provide an event that will help uplift and educate our retailers and partners,” said Lester Burks, CEO of Life Line Foods, LLC and SENPA board president. “Independent natural product retailers are central to the health and wellbeing of the people in the communities we serve.”
