The Best and Brightest competition identifies and honors organizations that display a “commitment to excellence in operations and employee enrichment that lead to increased productivity and financial performance,” the release says. Out of 5,000 nominations, 540 organizations were recognized.
The Best and Brightest in Wellness category, the release continues, specifically honors companies that promote employee wellbeing and worksite health and wellness. Companies are examined statistically for quantitative and qualitative data. Each survey was scored on a point system that included wellness program outcomes, analysis, tracking, participation, incentives, benefits, leadership, employee input, culture, and environment.

“Each member of our team is vital to our success, and we endeavor to make sure they know how much they are appreciated,” said NOW CEO Jim Emme in the release. “Perhaps now more than ever, providing quality employment in a healthy and safe environment is essential. This is something that is embedded in our company culture, and this independent recognition means a lot to us.”The press release notes that this is the seventh consecutive year NOW has been honored as a Best and Brightest Company to Work For, and the third consecutive year it has been honored for wellness.
