The ingredient has a rapid onset of action, and works on the innate immune system by activating all three receptor systems, dectin-1, toll-like receptors, and the complement receptor for enhanced immune modulating properties, the company claims. The recommended dosage is 30 mg per day. The product is odorless, tasteless, and holds an FDA GRAS status.
