East Windsor, NJ—The Sami-Sabinsa Group has been honored with numerous awards in recent weeks, according to a press release, being named “best of” in categories ranging from herbal research to beverage taste.

Dr. Muhammed Majeed, Founder, Chairman, and Managing Director, and Sabinsa were honored by the Associated Chambers of Commerce & Industry of Industry (ASSOCHAM), a 99-year old organization of over 400 Chambers of Commerce and Trade Associations serving more than 450,000 members across India. In New Delhi, on September 26, the association held the 5thASSOCHAM National Symposium on Nutraceuticals, where it distributed awards.

Dr. Majeed received the 2019 Indian Nutraceuticals Trailblazer Award “in recognition of outstanding commitment and leadership in integrating technology with Ayurveda and shaping the Indian Nutraceutical Industry.”

The Best Herbal Research Company award was presented to Dr. Anju Majeed, Director of Sami Labs; the Best Nutraceutical Company award was presented to Ms. Sunayana, daughter of Dr. Anju Majeed and granddaughter of Dr. Muhammed Majeed; and the Best Nutraceutical Export Company honor was received by V G Nair, CEO and Director of Sami Labs Limited.

Separately, several days later, Sabinsa received the Best Tasting Beverage award at Vitafoods Asia in Singapore for Curcumin C3 Power Liquid. The beverage was a demonstration of the versatility of Sabinsa's GRAS affirmed Curcumin C3 Complex.
