SupraPulp packages can be frozen and heated in an oven, steam cooker, or microwave; the press release notes that it is compostable, uncoated, and toxin- and metal-free. The press release adds that SupraPulp will not absorb liquids, leak, or soften when in contact with liquid, making it useful for packaging fresh meat, poultry, and seafood. And the material is compostable.“Dispose SupraPulp packages the same way as you would your salad,” said Lior Itai, CEO and Co-founder of W-Cycle, in the press release. “This food-grade, compostable packaging is a one-to-one replacement for its plastic counterpart.
