Austin, TX—Whole Foods Market announced 30 recipients of their seventh annual Supplier Awards at a reception on April 10, according to a press release.

The release states that the awards honor suppliers’ achievements in 2018 that demonstrate the company’s values in their commitment to environmental stewardship, quality, innovation, organic integrity, and partnership. The recipients are among local, regional, and national brands ranging from perishable to non-perishable products.

According to the release, Whole Foods Market buyers and category experts that work with suppliers closely on a daily basis chose the recipients. Some recipients include Vive Organic, Wild Planet Foods, Driscoll’s, Nature’s Path, Cocokind, and UTEC Inc.

A.C. Gallo, Whole Foods Market president and chief merchandising officer, stated in the release, “We’re proud to recognize these suppliers who offer outstanding products aligned with our mission, values and the high quality standards that we’ve championed for nearly 40 years. This year’s honorees were selected from thousands of brands and represent the best-in-class in sourcing, industry-leading innovation and win-win partnership.”
