Tempe, AZ — Arizona Custom Blends (ACB) showed off its new 144,000-SF facility at an open house for customers and vendors on September 6. The facility, which has room to grow, has the capacity for capsules as well as powders and packaging.

ACB started off in an 8,000 SF facility in 2016, but the company quickly outgrew that space, and expanded into a second building, and then a third, which is where the facility is today. The current building was previously a machine shop built in the 1960s (with expansions in the 80s and 90s), but during the COVID-19 pandemic it was completely overhauled and updated to accommodate ACB’s current needs.

At the head of ACB is CEO Jeff Weintraub, who has a background in healthcare. He was recruited to Contract Manufacturing, and hired talent like industry veterans Scott Christensen, Milon Pitts, Bruce Courier, Rick Robinette, Gina Benninger, and more. Together, the ACB team has more than 100 years of experience.

The motto at ACB is to exceed expectations and solve problems for customers before those clients even know they have a need. Due dates are not words in their vocabulary, as the team is always trying to exceed expectations and get work done as quickly as possible with the quality ingredients and efficiency every customer deserves. Kurt Weintraub, Jeff’s son, oversees scheduling, and he makes sure all runs smoothly and that customers can count on the date promised.

ACB’s goals

The company's goals are to work with more brands for new products and provide clinically, leading-edge products. They appreciate all their partners and gain support from their vendors.

The team at ACB is proud to highlight innovative ideas and products and to help formulate products to complement customers’ lines. And to share the latest, ACB is introducing a new podcast, called The Natural Blend.

What I learned at the open house: Customers and vendors rely on ACB for the people and partnerships, quality, and on-time delivery.
