Retailers are always concerned about the competition presented by the big box stores and internet offerings, and about being able to separate truth and honesty about the industry and industry products from misinformation and disinformation. Smaller regional shows such as MAHO present excellent education and opportunities to allow retailers to have cutting-edge information to keep them at the top of their game. Retailers need the correct science-based knowledge about topics and products that will genuinely allow them to communicate with their customers. Retailers provide one-on-one education and guidance that allows their customers to make informed decisions to take control of their own health and that of their families.
Advocacy remains extremely important relative to health issues affecting our entire nation and the populations around the world. This industry is pivotal in providing the science and information to get new protocols and rules approved through the existing and appropriate agencies.
MAHO also sees a need for our retailers to have information relative to issues such as the Main Street Tax Act, which will affect them as small businesses. MAHO has partnered with INHLP (Independent Natural Health & Living Project) to provide a balance of health, industry, and small business support as it relates to our independent retail segment of the Natural Products Industry.
A great way to keep up on industry information is to join us for MAHO’s “Cheers to 50 Years!" Summer Splash Convention & MAHO Expo, taking place July 25-27, 2025, at the Hilton Columbus at Easton, Columbus, Ohio. This will be a weekend of collaborative education, information, networking, and interaction with industry supplier/exhibitors for great deals.
