The foundation, which helps nonprofits provide nutrition, education, and food access to children, plans on awarding 100 grants to nonprofits in 23 states, totaling $600,000. Grants will range from $1,000 to $10,000 per nonprofit.
“Nonprofit organizations play a critical role in providing children and families with the education, resources and encouragement to learn how to live healthier lives,” said Lyndsey Waugh, Executive Director of the Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation, in the release. “Through our Neighborhood Grants program, we are able to partner in this meaningful work and serve our communities.”
