Boulder, CO—Natural Habitats, creator of the educational platform Palm Done Right, announced a partnership with Spinster Sisters. The two companies will work with retailers and brands to educate consumers about producing palm oil that is 100% organic, deforestation-free, wildlife friendly, fair and social.
“We are thrilled to have Spinster Sisters join our family of committed brand partners,” says Monique van Wijnbergen, Sustainability and Corporate Communications Director for Natural Habitats. “They represent the level of care and commitment that we value in our Palm Done Right brand partners.”
Since 2011, Colorado-based Spinster Sisters Co. has created quality skin care products using ingredients, methods, and energy that are friendly to the planet while uplifting the local community through positive cultural and social impact commitments, the company says. Specifically, the products are made with essential oils, minimally processed plant oils, and botanicals, while avoiding sulfates, phthalates and parabens.
“Carefully selected ingredients were actually the basis of the creation of this company, and that standard continues to be at the heart of what we do,” says Kelly Perkins, President and CEO of Spinster Sisters, in the release. “We consciously strive to do better for people and the planet, with a firm belief that we can do business for good. We are happy and proud to have found the perfect fit with the Palm Done Right movement.”
