Irvine, CA—BioCell Collagen was found in a new study to visibly reduce common signs of skin aging within 12 weeks of daily use, according to a press release. BioCell Collagen is composed of hydrolyzed collagen type-II, chondroitin sulfate, and hyaluronic acid.

BioCell Collagen, when compared to a placebo:

- Increased skin elasticity and increased cutaneous collagen content by 12%
- Improved indicators associated with a more youthful skin appearance based on visual grading and wrinkle width
- Decreased skin dryness and erythema

Study: BioCell Collagen Helps Reduce Effects of Skin Aging
Alexander Schauss, Ph.D., co-author of the study, said in a press release from BioCell Technology: “Findings from a clinical trial of this magnitude show how BioCell Collagen’s naturally-occurring matrix of hydrolyzed collagen type II, chondroitin sulfate and hyaluronic acid can address the loss of collagen in skin associated with aging. This landmark research is especially encouraging for women who are seeking safe and effective options for meeting their skin health and appearance goals, including those who are considering or already using cosmetic procedures to address skin aging.”
