According to a report byCNBC, the products will available in 14 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, and the selection of CBD products will expand to include Garden of Life Dr. Formulated Broad Spectrum CBD Extract soft gels and liquid drops later this month.

“The customer relationship is the cornerstone of The Vitamin Shoppe’s reinvention, and our customers have told us loud and clear they want CBD,” Sharon Leite, CEO of Vitamin Shoppe, told CNBC.

As WholeFoodspreviously reported, The Vitamin Shoppe also recently launched a new Healthy Awards loyalty program to strengthen customer relationship. Leite called this part of "The Vitamin Shoppe’s reinvention.” In a press release announcing the program, Leite said, “With over 90 percent of the company’s sales coming from Healthy Awards members, we are delighted to launch our new loyalty program as the first step in having a much more meaningful relationship with our customers.”
