Vista, CA—Dr. Bronner’s has announced its Heal Soul! campaign, designed to educate on the potential of psychedelic-assisted therapy to treat mental illnesses and other ailments at the intersection of mind, body, heart, and soul. This year, the company has donated over $3 million to support these efforts, and has created a special limited edition “Heal Soul!” label on its 32oz. Castile Liquid Soaps, available nationwide through December 2020.
“Our world is grappling with epidemics of depression, anxiety, PTSD, and addiction that modern pharmaceutical approaches often fail to adequately address,” said David Bronner, Cosmic Engagement Officer (CEO) of Dr. Bronner’s, in a press release. “Psychedelic-assisted therapy is life-saving medicine that the world needs now, especially highly traumatized populations like veterans, first responders and marginalized communities generally.”
The Heal Soul! campaign is about mainstreaming the conversation around using psychedelic-assisted therapies in a rational and compassionate way—while dismantling misguided stigmas around the medicines, explained Michael Bronner, President of Dr. Bronner’s.
The company’s cumulative donation of over $3 million this year to psychedelic healing efforts helped multiple organizations including Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies, Oregon Psilocybin Therapy Measure- Yes on 109, Decriminalize Nature DC- Initiative 81, Indigenous Peyote Conservation Initiative, VETS: Veterans Exploring Treatment Solutions, Inc., and the Heroic Hearts Project.
Additionally, starting October 1, consumers that buy via the Dr. Bronner’s website will have the opportunity to direct a portion of their purchase to support one of Dr. Bronner’s partner organizations.
