Orlando, FL—SOHO Expo 2020 will be happening in person from December 10-13, according to a press release from SENPA.

The press release notes that SENPA and its Board had originally established an October 1 deadline to make this decision, the organization has watched events be held safely at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center. It has put together safety protocols to ensure that this convention, too, can be held without fear.

Some of those safety protocols include:
  • Face coverings required for all guests and Mariott associates in all indoor public areas; disposable masks will be available for exhibit attendees
  • Frequent cleaning of all surfaces
  • Hand sanitizer stations have been installed throughout the hotel and exhibit hall
  • Attendee seating in education spaces will be spaced according to government guidelines, as will exhibit booths

“With 50 years in the books, we couldn’t let this pass us by. We have to be together to celebrate 50 years of SOHO Expo in person,” said Debra Short, Executive Director of SENPA, in the press release.

Lester Burks, President of the SENPA Board of Directors, added, “We are thrilled to get together with everyone. This is just what we need to end 2020 on a high note.”
