Austin, TX—Whole Foods Market has launched Home Ec 365, a digital curriculum designed to provide a contemporary take on the fundamentals of home economics, according to a press release.

The course will teach students everything from creative baking swaps and ways to use food scraps to stocking up on grocery staples and using the right cleaning products.

Classes include:

  • Swap-Savvy Baking: Getting Creative with Recipes & Replacements – In this course led by Joy Wilson, aka Joy The Baker (@joythebaker), students will learn what to do and how to adapt if they run out of a vital ingredient, or how to switch up types of flour.
  • So Fresh & So Clean: How to Effectively Clean Your Appliances – This course, led by clean queen, organization enthusiast, and mom vlogger Jessica Tull (@jessica_tull_), will help students deep clean efficiently and get the best results from appliances like the fridge and dishwasher.
  • Use ‘Em Up! How to Transform Food Scraps & Leftovers – Led by chef and well-being advocate Sophia Roe (@sophia_roe), students will learn how to rework recipes with leftover ingredients and other food ‘scraps.’
  • Smarter Shopping: Save, Stock & Invest – Bobby Parrish (@flavcity), aka “the grocery store guy,” will teach students how to organize their fridge and pantry, and which ingredients they can save on—and which they should splurge on.
