Walnut, CA—Farlong Pharmaceutical is donating 10% of September sales from Lifeflower Breviscapine to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America (AFA), according to the press release.

Farlong’s donation—in honor of World Alzheimer’s Month—will support AFA’s mission of providing support, services, and education to individuals, families, and caregivers affected by Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. The donation will also help fund research for better treatment and a cure.

The AFA operates a National Toll-Free Helpline at (866) 232-8484; it provides free, confidential memory screenings at sites across the country; and it works with professional caregivers and dementia-care settings to provide additional training and continuing education.

Lifeflower Breviscapine is a flavonoid component extracted fromErigeron breviscapus. It contains more than 90% Scutellarin, which has been shown to enhance memory, cognitive function, and brain health; increase brain circulation; and promote the development of new blood vessels. The ingredient is self-affirmed GRAS for use as an ingredient in yogurt, nutritional bars, smoothies, and supplements.
