"It is such a great honor to serve this organization and our members by fulfilling the promise of our mission," said Sheridan. "I look forward to working with the talented INFRA team to build on the foundation that has been laid, to deliver more programs and support to our members, and to capture the opportunities before us. Together we will drive innovation and sustainable growth that benefits employees, industry partners, members, and the communities that they serve."
Sheridan, with nearly 30 years of business operations and finance leadership experience, has served INFRA for three years, most recently as interim President and CEO since January 2020 and Chief Operating Officer & Chief Financial Officer prior to that.
He serves as Secretary on the Retailer Council of the Organic Trade Association and has held leadership roles in finance, operations, and technology in professional services organizations as well as companies in the healthcare and organic grain milling industries.
“We have witnessed many successes in the last year under Pat’s leadership as Interim CEO, including his rapid reaction to the COVID crisis, prioritizing INFRA’s financial health during a pandemic, strategic framework development, and team growth,” said John Pittari, INFRA Board Chair. “It became clear to us that the best person to lead INFRA through its next phase of growth was already leading the association. We're delighted that he's accepted the position, and we look forward to working with him on strategy to bring our association confidently into the future.”
