Leominster, MA—Indian-American author, TV host, producer, and culinary expert Padma Lakshmi has partnered with the brand DAH! as a board advisor and brand partner.

DAH! produces Lassi, an Indian yogurt smoothie that is cooked at a lower temperature for longer periods of time. According to the press release, this process creates a smooth, rich product. DAH!’s Lassi is made from real fruits, and contains 60 million live probiotics per 32-oz bottle.

CEO of DAH!, Pamela Goldberg, is excited to welcome Lakshmi to the company. Goldberg remarked: “We are beyond honored for Padma to join our team, and bring along her wealth of food knowledge and understanding of consumer behavior. With Padma’s passion and partnership, we have no doubt that Lassi will soon be a household name.”

As part of the new partnership, DAH! has released a new flavor, inspired by Lakshmi’s bestselling children’s book, Tomatoes for Neela. Tomato with Mixed Berries Lassi is now available to try along with DAH!’s other Lassi flavors, including Strawberry with Mint, Peach with Honey, and Alphonso Mango.

Lakshmi, best known for her hosting duties on the BRAVO series Top Chef, stated in the press release: “I think DAH!’s Lassi (yogurt smoothie) is special because it has more probiotics and less sugar than a lot of drinkable yogurts. I’m looking forward to sharing this with the American public because it may be something new for them. It can play a vital role in gut health, nutrition, in getting enough protein, and in being a great addition to our diet that’s just plain delicious.”
